I don't know about you, but when it comes to soda consumption, the first thing that pops into my mind is "party!" Sometimes I get to pop an unexpected tab when I grab lunch with my mom or reallyyyy need to wake up in the middle of a long shift of librarian-ing, but mostly I think of large get-togethers. Looking at these Halloween Mini Monster Cans, though, there's nothing LARGE about them- making them perfect for smaller parties, Trick-or-Treating, or use in a delicious recipe (root beer floats anyone?)! Micro cans for as many micro occasions as you can imagine!
I've found that they make for really amazing Halloween drinkable decoration in my apartment!
How to Make a Halloween Book Display:
To set the scene for the monsters, I grabbed some of my absolute favorite books (10 points to anyone who can guess which novels these are without their dust jackets! They look so much spookier and Halloween-y without their modern artwork and fonts, don't you think?) and stacked them on top of one another on my bookcase. Then, I grabbed three glass mason jars/mugs/cups of varying sizes and shapes to create a potions set arrangement -something which will only become cooler when we're hosting more than myself and my two roommates!
For an everyday sort of celebration, these terrible (*cough*terribly adorable, that is!*cough*) monsters are the perfect size to slip into a lunch box, something I discovered as I made a Sunkist® monster dance in the breakroom at work! How did I make it dance, you ask? In a super fun way that does not involve the exploding or spraying of shaken soda cans- through the use of the Mini Monsters AR (augmented reality) app! I downloaded the app through the Apple store (it's also available through Google Play!) and scanned the monster on the can to make the little guy come to life. Plus, if you scan more than one can together (like I did when I made my potions set!), the monsters interact with one another on your screen!
If you want to join me and Release the #MiniMonsters, you can download the app by visiting www.minimonsters.com and bring your favorite soda to life this Halloween (mwahahahaha it's ALIVE!) Ahem. The app also lets you record the monsters doing their thing, being monsters in an augmented reality, AND take selfies with them! You can even share your Monsters on Snapchat (pssssst, you should check mine out because I am sending lots of #MiniMonsters your way!)
