Blarney Castle itself is beautiful and seeped in folklore- the grounds that surround it are even more so. Looking at the tourist map of the area is like seeing my favorite fables and folk tales come to life! Before we could choose which fairy glens or witch's caves to visit first, there was a small matter of a tree that needed climbing...
...some with more help than others...
Once we were all situated in the branches and had satisfied our need to explore how high up and how far out we could go, we had to snap some pictures!
Speaking from experience, here, it is sometimes the best course of action to play like a kid when the "mature adult" course has not yet been set. I've found some spontaneity and overwhelming amounts of laughter can ease just about any decision making process!

With our attitudes thus brightened and our spirits thus lifted, we set our feet to walking upon a physical path to our next destination.

Who knew walking could be so fun?!
