I was thinking of titling this post "what to wear to the MFA" (or something similar) to match my "what to wear to tea" post. But then I thought, no! You don't need to dress up to go to the museum, you just need to go. Feeling the culture and history soaking through your very pores is amazing all on its own- regardless of what you are wearing. Just go to your local museum, already- I promise you won't regret it!
Well. Got that mini rant out of the way!
On a different note, my dad took and helped to edit the pictures that you're about to see. He fancies himself a bit of a photographer, taking action shots of my brother and I when we compete in any sport, my senior portrait in high school, and glamour shots before any snazzy dance or evening. And you know what? It's kind of awesome!
So, without further ado, here is my museum day outfit!
(Fair warning- this dress put me under the impression that I'm a ballerina so I spun... a lot.)
dress- BB Dakota
(I scooped it up on clearance in a 344 store after mooning over it for ages)
My mom has declared this dress a new favorite of hers and leadingly questioned my dad into saying the same. With the parental seal of approval, I can see this lovely little number becoming a go-to dress on those hot summer days we spend together (like Nantucket, my aunt's beach, or out on the lake)!
I'm thinking I might use one of these as a new sidebar image, let me know if you like any of them!
Stop and smell some flowers, lovelies!
I have a crush on this dress ;) You should use the last picture as side bar ones , it's pretty nice.
