Tea Time Sugar Cookies
3 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 sticks (1cup) of butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheiht
2. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and set to mixing (which is admittedly easier when you have an electronic mixer... but hey! If you want an arm workout, go nuts!)
Sugar & flour in our really big measuring cup!
Pouring, can you hear the *swish* of the sugar?
baking powder
bit of vanilla
one egg, cracked.
two sticks of butter
mix mix mix
go on, steal a pinch! I know you want to!
3. Pop the dough in the fridge for about half an hour before rolling it out and making fun shapes!
4. Pop them in the oven and watch carefully. When they just barely start to darken around the edges, take them out and place them off to the side to cool (and nom on whichever ones accidentally break in the transition!)
First batch!
When it comes to tea, always remember- when in doubt, pinky out!
These look delicious! I love baking. I will definitely make them on one of my days off! :)
